ESG compliance

With the European Green Deal, the topic of sustainability has gained regulatory momentum. During the last legislative period of the European Parliament, numerous regulations and directives were issued, most of which relate to the supply chain. The European Commission is currently in the process of finalising a large number of more specific requirements. Some legal projects will also be discussed further in the coming legislative period.

A clear overview of all relevant requirements is essential for companies in order to enable effective and appropriate compliance. All supply chain-related regulations should be kept in view - product-related if necessary.

Our Green Trade team consists of lawyers with specific expertise in the areas of trade, supply chains, circular economy, human and labour rights and biodiversity, in particular deforestation. We take a holistic approach to the specific requirements based on the Green Deal and always keep an eye on the relevant issues.

We actively follow all phases of the legislative processes in Berlin and Brussels and offer strategic advice, particularly during consultation phases. In addition to strategic advice, we provide support in particular through ESG monitoring, as part of which we provide you with regular, customised information.

Thanks to our firm's many years of experience in the field of foreign trade compliance, representation in official and court proceedings and advice on supply chain communication, we offer support in all areas of the implementation and enforcement of supply chain-related regulations and laws.
