Partner Country Israel – GvW Graf von Westphalen presents at GREEN VENTURES 2015 in Leipzig
Today, the GREEN VENTURES 2015 are opened on the occasion of the TerraTec and enertec fairs in Leipzig. Entrepreneurs from 37 countries will meet at the new exhibition grounds in order to discuss the latest trends in energy and environmental technology.
The partner country of this year’s GREEN VENTURES is Israel, which presents itself in different seminars and agenda items as a location for investment and a cooperation partner for international business. GvW partner Dr Werner Schnappauf will elaborate on German-Israeli relations in the energy business in his presentation “Renewable Energy & Israeli-German Cooperation”.
With the key subject Israel, the organizer acknowledges the 50th anniversary of the start of diplomatic relations between Israel and Germany. Therefore, the GREEN VENTURES are also a part of the supporting program for the anniversary “50 Years Israel-Germany” (for further details see www.de50il.org).
With its Israel Desk, GvW Graf von Westphalen has been committed in Israel and for the German-Israeli relations for years. Most recently, the firm brought together German investors and Israeli start-up companies in the context of the „German-Israeli StartHub – Connecting Innovation". GREEN VENTURES 2015 is the first Israel-related event for GvW in the year of the anniversary.

Transport System Bögl: new local public passenger transport system a big success in China
The Max Bögl group of companies has developed a new local public passenger transport system. The system called “Transport System Bögl” (TSB) uses magnetic levitation, or “maglev” technology and provides a clean and cost-efficient means of transport for better mobility in inner city areas. The technology is becoming increasingly popular also in other countries: Max Bögl’s most recent export order was the sale of its TSB to China. The company’s plans include building a 3.5 km test track in Chengdu and extensive marketing activities to promote the technology in China – all through a sales partnership with a Chinese company.
