Magnetic levitation train TSB – Transport System Bögl: GvW Graf von Westphalen advises the Max Bögl Group in China
The international Max Bögl Group exports its magnet levitation train technology - Transport System Bögl ("TSB") to China. The corporate group (Anm: das kennt kein Mensch somit lassen wir das besser weg) has agreed on a corresponding long-term distribution partnership with the Chinese company Chengdu Xinzhu Road & Bridge Machinery Co. Ltd. (“Xinzhu”).
Xinzhu plans the construction of a 3.5 kilometers long test track for TSB in Chengdu, the capital city in the province Sichuan. The cooperation agreement also provides that Xinzhu will market the TSB in China.
Max Bögl is convinced about the environmentally friendly and cost-efficient public transit magnetic levitation train technology that Max Bögl developed on its own. Headquartered in Sengenthal, the construction group further developed the TSB on its own test line in past years. The transport system consists of the rail line, vehicles as well as operations control technology and a concept has been developed for local transit with lines of up to 30 kilometers with a travelling speed of 150 km/h.
GvW Graf von Westphalen advised the Max Bögl Group in the market entry into China through a team consisting of Dr Björn Etgen (lead/Hamburg), Patrick Heid (Shanghai), Ming Yi (Frankfurt) and Xue Min (Munich). The law firm acts on behalf of numerous companies in the distribution of their service and products in China through its office in Shanghai.

Transport System Bögl: new local public passenger transport system a big success in China
The Max Bögl group of companies has developed a new local public passenger transport system. The system called “Transport System Bögl” (TSB) uses magnetic levitation, or “maglev” technology and provides a clean and cost-efficient means of transport for better mobility in inner city areas. The technology is becoming increasingly popular also in other countries: Max Bögl’s most recent export order was the sale of its TSB to China. The company’s plans include building a 3.5 km test track in Chengdu and extensive marketing activities to promote the technology in China – all through a sales partnership with a Chinese company.
